An internship with HDR@UCR can offer a unique, hands-on experience that can complement classroom knowledge and serve as a foundation for your career. Participants can gain real work experience by being responsible for projects in their area of interest while positively impacting the community and residents of the Inland Empire.

• All appointments are part-time with a minimum of 10 hours a week
• All appointments are focused on health disparities research
• Please indicate in your application if you are interested in obtaining units for your internship. 
• If your program requires an specific set of internship requirements, please make sure to upload your school guidelines to the application.

How to Apply

Internship opportunities can be opened at any time for a variety of majors.  The application requires you to upload a resume/CV and list your availability. Once you are ready to apply please click here for the application. 

Upon submission of an application, we will review and notify applicant of the availability of internships across the different cores.  Please allow for two weeks after your application to receive an email with next steps.
